 Open position, Secretary

<open position at the SIG>

Due to a member of our Board standing down we now have a vacancy for Office of the Secretary.

Persons wishing to be considered for the position should use the contact me form.

If you have experience in this area for another association or club that would be helpful but not essential.

Whilst we operate without the Secretary both Adam Hopkins and Mark Henshaw will work to complete the duties of that office.

 Peter Hanney, CISA & CISM Coordinator

Peter started work in accountancy, then moving into Internal Audit before focusing on IT and Project reviews. He moved from Local Government to Financial Services and in doing so crossed a wide variety of working practices and technologies, from single site mainframes to global wireless services.

Experience with compliance work using Data Protection, Basel II, and SOX, has highlighted the usefulness offered by ISACA membership with access to CobIT and IT Governance guidelines.  An excellent reason for involvement with ISACA is the opportunity to learn from others and to discuss current and potential work issues.

His professional qualifications include IIA, CISA and Prince 2, and he is planning to take the CISM examination.

Peter has enjoyed the recent highs and lows following Reading FC.
