A Message to ISACA Members

Increasing ISACA membership – we need your help to ensure we remain viable with an increasing membership base.  We have not seen a reduction in the number of members across the region supported by the London Chapter; we are simply maintaining the status quo.  In the latter part of this year you will see information relating to membership initiatives for the ISACA Winchester SIG and we will need your support and help to reach our goal of increasing the membership base.

Earning CPEs – clearly this is something we must all do to ensure our professional qualifications remain valid.  You should make sure you’re certain what is required to maintain your qualification, and be proactive in your approach to achieve this.  You can attend the monthly meetings run by your events committee and earn CPEs that way; you can also prepare and present at the monthly meetings and earn more CPEs.  You can earn CPEs by performing additional tasks outside of the meetings; there are opportunities available for additional committee membership, and special one-off activities in the pipeline.  If you would like to know more please contact me through this website or at one of the monthly meetings.

I would like to thank the ISACA Winchester SIG board and committee members for offering their time, intellect, and patience, at no cost to ISACA members.  Thanks also to BDO and Unum for their generous offers to use their offices for our monthly meetings in 2010, and to the IOW Council for hosting this website.

We are looking forward to some excellent events and hope you will join us at the monthly meetings.
