CPEs
If you simply want to earn CPEs, or you would like to become more involved in the IASCA Winchester SIG and earn CPEs at the same time, then presently we have the following options available to you. As you will see one is a straightforward proposition of writing and presenting to the SIG, while the other is a longer term investment. Of course you can just attend the Winchester SIG meetings and watch and learn from the presentations and educational talks by others and earn your CPEs that way. To maintain the CISA, CISM, and CGEIT certifications an individual must submit a minimum number of CPE credits annually during each 3 year certification cycle. For CISA, CISM, and CGEIT certifications an individual must obtain 120 CPEs over their 3 year certification period. For ISACA, CPEs do not need to be classified by group, and all activities defined for the ISC2 CISSP information security domains and general professional development areas qualify for CISA, CISM, and CGEIT ISACA CPE credits. All of the ISACA certifications require attainment of a minimum of 20 CPEs per year. If you think you have a presentation that covers one or several of the themes then why not take an hour to educate your fellow SIG members and present at one of the monthly meetings. You can complete the online web form to get things going. Remember you will also earn CPE points too for writing and performing the presentation.
